Get Your Kicks...

My dear friend, Eric, just finished a once-in-a-lifetime trip down Route 66. He traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles riding a Harley with a group of like minded Harley lovers (don't worry, they aren't scary).

Now, if you're like me (and I know I am), you probably couldn't care less about Harley Davidson motorcycles, and (unlike me) you don't know my friend & don't really care to see a slide show of his vacation. But, considering he got to troll down 66 & get some cool pics, I thought you would like to see some of them. Be sure to turn your sound on, there's a great Cash song playing that really compliments the show.

Eric's older brother, David, was going to take the trip with him, but had to cancel due to being informed that his remissioned cancer has returned & he'll be undergoing a second round of treatments soon. Would you pray for David during this time? I know he'd appreciate it.

Eric said of the trip, "I've been asked to describe my ordeal across the country and I have realized that I just cannot put it into words. The emotions ran deep for a variety of reasons and at times I would be overcome with sensation overload, like an infant in a busy restaurant. I will say that it is a once in a lifetime trip and I plan to keep it that way."
