Bueller?...Bueller?...

Anyone there? Are my three faithful readers still with me?

I'm almost back into blogging mode, though it might be a week or so yet. I'll have a photo update on our new home, where we've been playing "Flip This House" (or "Flip That House") for several weeks now. And, if you're nice, perhaps some adventures from Sheridan.

That's all for now, but I'll leave you with this - totally unrelated to anything - just sent to me by a co-worker:

Well, you have ONE faithful reader. I am a bit embarrassed to only just now contact you about your generous gifts of books in mid-June. We arrived in the States the day before Father's Day and I WAS SHOCKED to find not one, but TWO, books from you. One for my husband and one for my son. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We're back in Ukraine -- planning medical conferences, another wedding, as well as continuing with our regular activities. Life is full, and we love it.

Ukrainiac-

Don't be embarrassed! Glad you got the books in time for Father's Day. If you were half as busy on your furlough as I've been with our house...then I totally understand! Hope you all had a good time in the states.

Some dear friends of ours are now in Ukraine w/ FamilyLife. I'm not sure what area, but here's their info: The Claxton's.

Thanks for stopping by!

I too, am one of your faithful readers! I have subscribed to you on my Google Reader... I check every day for new posts, and was shocked to see you actually posted one. I think this is the second post since I have subscribed. Looking forward to seeing the house. Oh yeah, can you shoot supper off the back porch?

FYI: I just sent an email to the Claxtons. I have not met them yet, but I feel confident that we have some friends in common through FamilyLife and Campus Crusade. Hopefully, SHE will attend the Kyiv Christian Women's Fellowship monthly meeting that takes place at our flat...next Monday! (Unless, of course, she is not living in this area...)

Ukrainiac - Good to hear! Hope you're able to contact them, they are a sweet family.

Branson - Yes and no. There was a rabbit in my yard the other night. We are the last house on a dead-end street, so to our right is the Saline County line w/ acres of woods. However, I'm not sure how strict the firearm laws are in Otter Creek!
