We Have a Mere Winner!!

The "Aaron-Is-Bribing-Me-To-Take-His-Survey-Contest" is now closed and I'm pleased to announce a winner! The process in determining the winner was highly scientific and rather complex, but I'll try to explain it.

Since the survey was anonymous, I took all the answers for the last question, "What book are you currently reading", printed them on slips of paper and put them in a bowl. Then, I had my 6, 4 & 2 year old EACH draw one piece of paper. I then took the three "finalists" and put them back in an empty bowl (IMPORTANT: It is crucial that I put the three finalists back into an EMPTY bowl, or otherwise, we'd be right back where we started. Hey - I told you this was complex!)

So with three finalists in the empty bowl, I had my 10 mth old draw the winner (official contest photo below):

And on the winning slip of paper was:

MERE CHRISTIANITY - C. S. Lewis

Now, if you took the survey and entered this book as your current read, then leave a comment in this post identifying yourself, and we'll arrange the delivery of your Jim Eliff CD Album, "How Children Come To Faith In Christ".

Thanks to all who took the survey...I'm still not quite sure if and/or how the results will effect any change here at I Am Chief. I will say that I'm considering launching a new, seperate blog just on the subject of nostalgia...but I'm still thinking it through. The new blog (which would be an "old" blog) would attempt to take us back during the past three decades (or more) through my own personal photos and toys and other relics from my past. Any thoughts or suggestions? Sound boring? If you grew up in the 70's or 80's, I think you'll find it totally radical, if you know what I mean.

Aaron,
That would be me, Jason Spoon.
I guess I am the 'lucky' winner, I mean this was all in God's providence. Funny thing is I'm always reading your blog but never comment, so I guess I have to comment now. I just finished the book last Thursday so does it still count since I'm not currently reading it anymore? :)
It will be an easy delivery for you.
Thanks, Jason

I'll bring the cd's to church tomorrow. Have you guys heard this Jim Eliff interview before? It's really good stuff.
