That 70's Show

These pics are from a 1977 Spring/Summer JC Penney Catalog sent to me from a friend, from a friend, from a friend who found this vintage treasure.

**UPDATED: If you haven't read the comments section yet, I was just notified that my pics are originally posted here (Warning: There will be language used at this site that you might find offensive.) My apologies to Johnny Virgil for the swipe!

I've also got a few 70's era "Good Housekeeping" mags that I'll share soon. But for now, enjoy this nostagic photo journey. And, if you still have any of this in your closet, you need to have a yard sale. And don't give me that "But it's back in style now" line. You know what they say, "If you wore it the first time it was in style, then you're too old to wear it the next time."

Two words: Terry Cloth.

Love me some of those pearl snaps!

Thanks.

about pic #2- could that boys shirt be tucked in any tighter?!

and the third pic- one word: NO!!

and the one with the two guys wearing pj's/gown/whatever that was; jc penney was getting kinda edgy there!!

ewwww!!! hilarious! LOL!

the matching men/women shirts are a no-no... well, most of that attire is a no-no.

Notice how there are NO OTHER races represented in the modeling?
Only the ole white folk!? Crazy. We've come so far in fashion and diversity! hee hee
