I want it. I really want it.
This set is particularly special to me because it was one of my first Christmas gifts that I'm aware of. The photo below shows me raking in the loot during what's likely my 2nd Christmas. I've commented before that it wouldn't be long before I had to share my parents holiday generosity with a new sister, but for now, I bask in the glory of being an only child and see no problem with materialism. If I could only get my hands on one of those airports...
Now, at $100 a set... I guess I'll have to settle for the pictures.
By the way, I still have that same Pillsbury Doughboy sitting in my office.

I don't have the heart to tell that little guy that it will all burn at the parousia... you'll have to do that.
Cool airport...
Nice parents... my parents were generous, too.
Why are you talking to the Little People Bo?
The little pilot will burn, but you may enjoy him in the meanwhile.
The box is magic...there are those who will pay as much as $200 for the box that goes with some of the oldest sets.

Introductions are in order, Aaron. Meet Jennifer, one of the nice commenters on my blog and an excellent artist and blogger...
Check out her designs, as well as her toy posts.
One other fine quality Jennifer possesses: she knows my wife's passion for the crazy, kitschy stuff all over our house and still owns Denise as a friend...
Pleasure to meet you Jennifer.
Why are you talking to the Little People Bo?
I was speaking of the little lad, sitting in the chair "raking in the loot."
Just think of all the lead paint you're sparing those sweet children by not having that in your house. :) That's the only reason I haven't handed over my Fisher Price schoolhouse to my kids. Yeah, I still have it - but it is 35 years old (I'm giving away how old I am, aren't I?) and I'm sure it's coated in nothing but lead. So, it stays high up on a shelf in the garage. :)
Gina, you have the FP schoolhouse? Really? When's your next garage sale?
Aww.. that is so cool!
